So I learned:
On one occasion senior Sāriputta dwells at Rājagaha, at Vulture's Peak Mountain. OK then senior Sāriputta on a forenoon occasion, having got dressed, having taken up bowl and robe, together with many almsman from Vulture's Peak Mountain, descended when he saw in a certain spot a great mass of timber. Viewing it, he addressed the almsmen:
'Do you not see, Messrs, that great mass of timber?'
'Just, Mr'
'When desiring, Messrs, a proficient almsman, with mental mastership, could direct that mass of timber thus to just earth.
Of what is this the reason?
It exist, Messrs, the aspect of earth in that mass of timber relying on what a proficient almsman, with mental mastership, could direct that mass of timber thus to just earth.
When desiring, Messrs, a proficient almsman, with mental mastership, could direct that mass of timber thus to just fluidity ... heat ... wind ... attractive ... unattractive.
Of what is this the reason?
It exits, Messrs, in that mass of timber, the aspect of fluidity ... heat ... wind ... attractive ... unattractive relying on what a proficient almsman, with mental mastership, could direct that mass of timber thus to just fluidity ... heat ... wind ... attractive ... unattractive.'
