'Of the four, almsmen, attendances of meditation, I shall point out and the rise and the settling down. Hear that.
And what, almsmen, is the rise for body?
With rise of food, rise of body; with cessation of food, settling down of body. With rise of touch, rise of feelings; with cessation of touch, settling down of feelings. With rise of name plus form, rise of mind; with cessation of name plus form, settling down of mind. With rise of attention, rise of principles; with cessation of attention, settling down of principles.'
