These four, almsmen, actions, myself acquainting with, realising, are by me publicised. Which four?
And which, almsmen, action dark, dark ripening?
Here, almsmen, someone arranges inclination by body with angriness, arranges inclination by speech with angriness, arranges inclination by intellect with angriness. He, arranging inclination by body with angriness, arranging inclination by speech with angriness, arranging inclination by intellect with angriness, arise a world with angriness. That with this world being arisen with angriness, touches touch with angriness. He being touched with a touch with angriness, gets to feel feeling with angriness; the one end with suffering. Also as those beings of purgatory. This is called, almsmen, action dark, dark ripening.
And which, almsmen, action bright, bright ripening?
Here, almsmen, someone arranges inclination by body without angriness, arranges inclination by speech without angriness, arranges inclination by intellect without angriness. He, arranging inclination by body without angriness, arranging inclination by speech without angriness, arranges inclination by intellect without angriness, arise a world without angriness. That with this world being arisen without angriness, touches touch without angriness. He being touched with a touch without angriness, gets to feel feeling without angriness; the one end with happiness. Also as those gods of dark beauty. This is called, almsmen, action bright, bright ripening.
And which, almsmen, action dark and bright, dark and bright ripening?
Here, almsmen, someone arranges inclination by body and with angriness and without angriness, arranges inclination by speech and with angriness and without angriness, arranges inclination by intellect and with angriness and without angriness. He, arranging inclination by body and with angriness and without angriness, arranging inclination by speech and with angriness and without angriness, arranging inclination by intellect and with angriness and without angriness, arise a world and with angriness and without angriness. That with this world being arisen with angriness and without angriness, touches touch with angriness and without angriness. He being touched with a touch also with angriness also without angriness, gets to feel feeling also with angriness also without angriness; the mix with happiness and suffering. Also as that from some humans and some gods and some belonging to purgatory. This is called, almsmen, action dark and bright, dark and bright ripening.
And which, almsmen, action not dark and not bright, not dark and not bright ripening, it leads to the barrenness of actions?
There, almsmen, what this action dark, dark ripening is, whatever the intention, for that the rejection. What this action bright, bright ripening is, whatever the intention, for that the rejection. What this action dark and bright, dark and bright ripening is, whatever the intention, for that the rejection. This is called, almsmen, action not dark and not bright, not dark and not bright ripening, it leads to the barrenness of action.
OK these, almsmen, four actions, myself acquainting with, realising, are by me publicised.
