Situated at Sāvatthi.

OK, standing at one side that deity said in the vicinity of the exalted one this verse:

'It is to be concluded, life is short-lived.
Concluded to ageing, no shelters exist.
Beholding this fear in death,
one should make merits bringing happiness.'

[The exalted one]

'It is to be concluded, life is short-lived.
Concluded to ageing, no shelters exist.
Beholding this fear in death,
one should give up the world's bait appeasing the behold.'
